Rare Leichter Personen Kraftwagen Type 166 (Schwimmwagen) manual. Issued by Volkswagenwerk G.m.b.H. Kundendienst, dated March 1943. Refers to the rare factory edition specifically intended for the main workshops and technical specialists of Volkswagenwerk, containing in-depth technical cross-sections and specifications of the 1130cc boxer engine, transmission, and the amphibious propeller mechanism (Schraubenantrieb) included. The manual is in very neat, used condition. The whole item has been lightly discolored by the passage of time and shows minimal, light age spots (foxing). It is otherwise in fair and fully complete condition, with no loose or missing pages. Unlike many front-line copies, this example has remained completely clean and free of heavy oil stains. The absolute highlight of this copy is the Schmierplan (the large fold-out lubrication flap, Bild 70) at the back of the book. It is still 100% complete and fully undamaged, attached to the binding, which is usually rarely the case with these manuals. Part number F 0091 is visible at the lower left on the cover.
