Soldbuch Krankenpfleger Konrad Huppertz, born 19.11.1899 in Süchteln near the Dutch border. The Soldbuch is opened on 23.05.1944 when he is assigned to Landesschützen ersatz und ausbildungs Bataillon 6, 2nd Company stationed in Weert. He then serves in Sanitäts Kompanie 176/149/1176. After this, he serves in Grenadier regiment 1219 which was part of the 176 infantry division. Konrad was active in the Central Limburg region, including in operation Blackcock, and was captured on 27.02.1945. In the Soldbuch, there is a list that has been kept since his capture, with Roermond listed as the first transit point on 01.03.1945. These same notes are also written in pencil on the back cover of the Soldbuch. His Personalausweis is also present. Beautiful Soldbuch for further research!!
