Beautiful and rare model of an inflatable boat in memory of the western campaign 1940 with Infantry Regiment 171. Place names and dates depicted on the upper edge of the boat: Maasübergang 10.V at Arcen, Tourhout Canal 14.V, Duffel 17.V, Quadbeeke 20.V, Lys 25.V, Herzeele 27.V, Yser Canal 29.V, Bulskamp 31.V. The model is made by Staatlich Meissen, of the type stoneware Böttgersteinzeug. This is a very rare and unique model in good condition, there are some light oxidation spots visible but it is completely intact and undamaged! Dimensions: 18x10x3 CM. Weight: 590 grams.
