Death card for Wehrmacht NCO Wilhelm Kerbl, born on 10 March 1916 in Haslach (Austria). Wilhelm served as a pilot (Flugzeugführer) in the Luftwaffe. On 9 December 1938, at the age of 22, he died in a fatal plane crash (tödlich verunglückt) at the Navigationsschule Anklam in Pomerania (Germany). According to the official database of the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge, he is registered as a military casualty and was buried at the time in the cemetery in Anklam.
