Death card for Wehrmacht Corporal Xaver Frammelsberger, born on 6 December 1911 and a farmer in civilian life (Farmer) from Hörabach. Xaver served as a Corporal in a Flak Battalion (anti-aircraft defence) at the front. He was killed in action (K.I.A.) on 7 October 1944 at the age of 32 during the fierce fighting on the Southeastern Front. According to the official database of the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge, Xaver Frammelsberger is listed as missing; after the war, during the withdrawal phase in the Balkans, his grave could no longer be recovered, and his name is therefore listed in the Volksbund memorial book.
