Hellbird War Book in beautiful and complete condition. It is a first edition with a beautiful leather cover, published in 1945 by Colonel Alfred F. Kalberer. Written, designed, and produced by Philip G. Oliver for the members of the 462nd Bombardment Group of the Twentieth Air Force. This book is personally signed by Kalberer and was probably addressed to the well-known Dutch resistance fighter John P. Smeets, born in Eindhoven, who moved to the United States after the war. The inscription reads: Jo Smeets With all the luck in the world-Kal. A beautiful and unique book with this signature, which is offered rarely!
