Beautiful original Friedrich-August Cross 2nd Class from the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg. Instituted in 1914 for bravery at the front during WW1. The cross is made in the later wartime version (Kriegsmetall/zinc), dated 1914, and is in neat, worn condition with a lovely patina. Fully mounted on the original blue-red Oldenburg ribbon for combatants. A genuine and sought-after WW1 cross!
