French wine labels from the wartime period (1942). These are unused 'stock' labels for the Bordeaux wine Cru du Mourey from the Lugon-Fronsac region, issued under the Appellation Bordeaux contrôlée. The labels were printed for the merchant André de Wilde, then a négociant at Château du Tertre in Arsac-Margaux (Gironde). Marked at bottom left with the French printer's name Wetterwald Frères Bx (Bordeaux) and provided at bottom right with the indication Imprimé en France. The paper is in unused condition and shows a natural patina and age discoloration on both the front and back. Free of adhesive residue. Several pieces of these labels are in stock.
