Soldbuch funker Helmut Rottleb, born in Krefeld 05-02-1921. Helmut does his training at Landes Schützen Bataillon 489 where he is deployed to guard prisoners of war. From the beginning of 1943 he was transferred to Nachrichten ersatz abteilung 6 in Münster where he probably served as funker. He has been awarded the kvk 2nd class with swords. The soldbuch also contains an Ausweis from the city of Münster and a document stating that he has to turn in his bayonet.
