British 1897 pattern infantry officers sword George V, beautiful sword dating to around WW1 and probably carried on to WW2. The saber is made by manufacturer Armfields Limited Birmingham. The handle is made of fishskin and is in beautiful condition. The leather sheath is also in top condition and is equipped with the original saber pendant and saber brush. The blade is etched, undamaged and nicely patinated and has a length of 83.5 cm. A beautiful period piece dating from the George V period!
