Wo1 seitengewehr (bayonet) m1898 kaiserliche marine neuer art. In fair, worn condition (the sheath once had a slight kink, but is not through or damaged). Made by manufacturer Simson & Co Suhl and marked 07 in the top of the blade , which stands for the year of production. It is regimentally marked on the bayonet and scabbard:IMD which stands for 1 sailor division Kiel. Very interesting piece that is rarely seen on the market.
